Freddy’s Opens Second Lincoln Location

A second Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers (www.freddysusa.com) opened in Lincoln on Dec. 4, 2016 at 8510 South 30th St. near Wilderness Hills Shopping Center. The Kansas-based fast-casual restaurant made its Lincoln debut earlier this year at 2711 S. 48th St.

“The South 27th Street and Yankee Hill Road retail corridor is a thriving hub for business in south Lincoln,” said Ron Oberg, franchise owner. “It’s surrounded by family-oriented neighborhoods and is an all-around great match for our family-friendly concept.”

The 3,400-square-foot location seats 118 guests and has additional seating on the patio. Drive-thru service is also available. Hours of operation are Sunday through Thursday 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. Freddy’s serves lean ground beef steakburgers, Vienna beef hot dogs and shoestring fries, as well as an assortment of dessert treats prepared with a choice of freshly-churned chocolate or vanilla frozen custard.

“Enjoying great food fast doesn’t mean your meal should sit in a warming drawer or under a heat lamp until you order it,” said Oberg. “Our menu items are cooked to order, served hot and fresh within minutes.”
