This year we celebrate Strictly Business Lincoln’s 25th Anniversary since it’s start in 1993! In September of 2007, Strictly Business Omaha was launched. The two magazines follow the same format, have the same goals and involve much of the same staff.
Strictly Business is a direct mailed news and marketing magazine. A publication containing vital Lincoln business information, it’s mailed into the hands of nearly every CEO, business owner and key executive in the city. Not only does the magazine reach business owners and managers, but it also reaches secretaries, lower-level management and other employees within the office. These readers are not only businesspeople, they are also the city’s biggest consumers.
Strictly Business is your sales representative. It makes it possible for businesses and client prospects to make the connection every month. With a shelf life of a full month, the magazine is passed around offices, reaching everyone from the president to the janitor. 9900 copies of Strictly Business (Lincoln) are mailed in the Lincoln area each month and over 15,000 copies of Strictly Business Omaha are mailed to Omaha and surrounding areas each month. Meet Our Staff:
Paige Zutavern has been involved with Strictly Business (Lincoln) since its inception over 17 years ago. Paige’s duties include ad sales in both the Lincoln and Omaha market, community involvement, administrative duties and general overseeing of both operations.
Paige comes from a ranching background in the Sandhills of Nebraska. She attended the University of Nebraska at both Kearney and Lincoln and, after graduating, began working for Gallup. Being involved with Gallup was a wonderful experience and she feels she owes so much of her business success to what she learned from working there for over three years. However, it soon became clear to both her and her husband that they were meant to own their own business and they eventually decided to take the plunge and start Strictly Business from scratch. It was tough going in the early days and many people told them they would fail. They ignored the negativity, though, and that has obviously paid off! Though there is still lots of hard work involved in creating this new publication, Paige’s experience and success in Lincoln has definitely made the road a bit smoother.
Paige is married to her high school sweetheart, Shayne Zutavern, and they have two boys, Schyler and Zane. They reside in Lincoln. To contact Paige, email email@example.com.
Amanda joined the Strictly Business team as Editor in February of 2013. She is responsible for managing all of the editorial content for our Lincoln and Omaha publications, including press releases, monthly columns/stories, and special features. Amanda is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in English, and has been involved and volunteered with community organizations such as Youth Leadership Lincoln, Junior Achievement, Lighthouse and City Impact. In her free time, she enjoys sports, fashion, live music and the arts, camping and just about any outdoor activity, travelling, and spending time with friends and family, including her two puppies Starr and Hurley.
Amanda works closely with local businesses and organizations, whose goal is to increase their visibility and get known, to announce their news, maximize their editorial opportunities within the magazine, and to tell their story. Holly Ryan joined the Strictly Business art department as a graphic designer in May 2016. She is a Friend, NE native, but has made Lincoln her home since September 2014. She attended Doane College in Crete, NE with a Women’s Golf Scholarship, graduating with a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Graphic Design. Prior to her new role at Strictly Business, she worked at The Printer as a graphic artist and also part-time as a guest service representative for Nothing Bundt Cakes, where she is still currently employed. In addition to assisting with ad design and promotional materials, Holly will also be posting content to our websites, www.strictly-business.com and www.strictlybusinessomaha.com, and our social media accounts. Hannah is proud to call Lincoln her home. She graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School and then attended the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. While at UNL, she majored in Hospitality, Restaurant, and Tourism Management with minors in Business, Leadership, and Communication. Hannah is passionate about enhancing communities through events, building relationships, and supporting local businesses. She has gained professional experience in a variety of roles, including Event Director for the Broken Bow Chamber of Commerce, Marketing Intern for the Nebraska Tourism Commission, and a variety of event planning positions.
As Executive Assistant for Strictly Business, Hannah will work on both the sales and the production side of the publication, with a wide variety of responsibilities including client correspondence, account management, event planning and networking.
