Robert Darrah of Legacy Retirement Communities Receives Humanitarian Award

Congratulations to Robert Darrah, director of dining services for Legacy Retirement Communities ( www.legacyretirement.com), for receiving the 2019 Senior Dining Association Humanitarian Award! This award is based off of the participation in several philanthropic projects such as donated dinners that were auctioned off benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association, LIBA, Morley Elementary, and others, along with the dining team’s work with FoodNet and Meals on Wheels.

Robert was quick to acknowledge the dining team as a whole when accepting the award. “It takes a group effort to accomplish great things!” he said. Robert has also served on the Association for Healthcare Foodservice Board of Directors for the past nine years.
