Young Professionals Group Announces Winners of 2020 Young Leader Awards

The Lincoln Young Professionals Group (LincolnYPG.com) recently announced the winners of the 2020 Young Lincoln Leader Awards (YLLAs) to recognize and honor individuals under 40 who are making outstanding contributions to the community and to the businesses that employ, engage, and support them. Awards were distributed at a sold-out, socially distanced, in-person event on September 24, as part of Young Professionals Week. The outdoor event was also live-streamed for those who could not attend and is available at Lincolnypg.com/events. D-Wayne Taylor was the emcee of the event, and speakers included City Councilman James Michael Bowers and Chamber of Commerce President Wendy Birdsall. Award winners include:

  •  Young Professional of the Year – Jasmine Kingsley, Hudl
  •  Emerging Leaders of the Year – Graham Pansing Brooks, SEAchange
  •  Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Lizz Whitacre, Pawlytics
  •  Young Citizens of the Year – Black Leaders Movement (LeeAaron Berks, Paska Juma, Bryanna Schade, Dario Rossin, KaDeja Sangoyele, Dominique Liu-Sang, and Pam Laam)
  • Young Nonprofit Professional of the Year – Maggie Stuckey, Lincoln Parks Foundation
  • Diversity and Inclusive Excellence Award – Nelnet
  • Next Generation Workplace Award – Ameritas
