Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (lincolnhabitat.org) is excited to welcome Avery Haack and Jodi Gates to the team. Avery Haack joins the staff at Habitat as construction site superintendent, and Jodi Gates joins as administrative coordinator.
Having an additional construction site superintendent will allow Habitat’s volunteers to be able to work on two job sites at the same time. This can lead to them building more homes for local families.
Avery brings his expertise as an interior construction specialist to help families who need a safe place to live in Lancaster and Seward counties.
“I was working for people who had money, building something they wanted,” said Avery. “Now I’m looking forward to working for people who might not have money, building something they need.”
Jodi Gates joined the team in August. She has experience in the construction industry and will be instrumental in helping the bookkeeping and bill departments organized. For fun, Jodi likes to ride motorcycles with her husband, spend time with her family, and create quilt works of art.
Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln was established in 1988 and has built or repaired 184 homes in Lancaster and Seward counties. They look forward to continuing the mission to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
