Last Month Recap

Last month, we hosted our first Friends4Drinks networking event and another Friends4Lunch on Zoom. We had some really awesome discussions and a good turnout at each. One of the positives about hosting events on Zoom is that some of our Omaha friends were able to join us! There were definitely laughs shared during our Friends4Drinks event on Cinco de Mayo (the Strictly Business team enjoyed specialty margaritas by Paige). During Friends4Lunch, we had an open discussion about the economic situation. There were different opinions brought to the table (or should we say screen?) as we shared our thoughts on businesses opening back up and what that is going to look like. We appreciated the mutual respect people had for each other’s viewpoints on the subject. Thank you to everyone who joined us at these events! It’s very important to us to stay connected with you all.

Thursday, June 4, 4 p.m. on Zoom

We will be doing another virtual Friends4Drinks this month! As there are still strict restrictions on bars and restaurants, we invite you to get on your phone or laptop and enjoy a virtual happy hour with the Strictly Business team. Just like last month, we will go around and introduce ourselves, our business, and the best thing that happen to us recently. This is a fun way to get to know each other and still connect while practicing social distancing. Feel free to pick-up some beverages from your favorite local establishment, or grab whatever you have in your fridge at home. The Zoom link and password will be published on the Facebook event page (@StrictlyBusinessMagazine).

Wednesday, June 10, 11:30 a.m. at Venue Restaurant & Lounge

Yes, that’s right! We will be hosting an in-person Friends4Lunch this month at Venue Restaurant & Lounge, located at 4111 Pioneer Woods Dr., STE 100. After speaking with Venue, they have assured us that they are more than capable of hosting our group. Attendees will be asked to spread out in tables of six. We are very excited for this chance to see our friends and clients again while enjoying Venue’s amazing cuisine.
