Strictly Business was blessed with a great year in 2023. And, as we start a new year, it’s a chance for new things, new beginnings and the possibility of making things even better. Our office has been changing a lot lately, but all of the change is exciting. Change isn’t always bad – it gives us the opportunity to get better, try new things and step out of our comfort zones; you never know what you might find. No matter what you’re planning for this year, we hope 2024 brings you success, happiness and lots of great memories.
As a business, we are striving to help our clients get the most out of their partnership with us. We’re constantly listening to feedback from clients, then thinking about and discussing how we can improve, adjusting how we work to get even better at what we do.
In regards to the New Year, we all put together our own resolutions for 2024:
Paige: Traveling is a passion of mine and I look forward to continuing to travel in 2024. With new places come new adventures and memories, and I want to take advantage of everything the world has to offer while I can. I have been blessed with good health, but I still want to exercise and eat right in 2024 so I can keep doing the things I love. Lastly, I want to be more intentional with how I spend my time to ensure that I am spending more time with friends, family and the people I care about as well as dedicating more time to my faith. I want my quality of life to keep improving as I make time for the things and people that matter to me most.
Kacey: After having my son a year ago, I finally want to make myself a priority. Being a mom has helped me realize the importance of taking care of myself and prioritizing “me time” is something I want to do more of. Whether it’s a short exercise session or finding moments to relax, I’m learning that by looking after myself, I’m actually improving things for my son too. It’s all part of this journey of being a mom while taking care of myself at the same time.
Shae: I have wanted to start my own book blog for years, but between college and now a full-time job, I haven’t been the best at dedicating myself to it. In 2024, I am going to block out more time in my schedule to launch it and make it successful. Aside from working on a blog that’s past due, I want to push myself to work to live instead of living to work. As much as I love my job, and my future blog, I have a bad habit of making work the center of my attention instead of focusing on friends, family and personal hobbies. In 2024, I want to live more and enjoy being young.
Devan: Being 32 years old, I am lucky to have all of my grandparents still alive and present in my life. After experiencing unexpected loss in recent years, it has been even more evident how fortunate I am to enjoy the company of many elderly loved ones. My New Year’s resolution for 2024 is to maximize and take advantage of any and every opportunity to engage with family and friends; specifically those that are of distant generations. I hope to discover stories that I haven’t heard before, but I also look forward to the stories that have been told on numerous occasions and listening intently like it’s the first time.
What are your New Year’s resolutions? Whatever they are, we wish you the best this year!
