The Lincoln Independent Business Association (LIBA) is thrilled to welcome Laurie Dunn as our newest team member. Laurie is a seasoned professional with over 35 years of experience working with businesses in Lincoln and Omaha in the areas of sales, marketing and insurance.
If Laurie’s name sounds familiar to you, it should. Laurie worked with LIBA for several years in the mid 2010’s and was very successful in helping Lincoln small businesses as LIBA’s Development Director. She has continued to build extensive career experience in sales since then, and LIBA is thrilled to have her expertise and passion for the organization once again.
Laurie also previously served on the LIBA Board of Directors and served on the LIBA Membership Committee, Ambassador Club, and as the coordinator for BizNet and referral groups. She was also the Nebraska Assistant Director of Business Network International (BNI).
This is the perfect time for us to bring Laurie on board, as LIBA is gearing up for its annual Free Enterprise Celebration on April 11 which will bring together business leaders from across the city. Laurie will play a key role in helping to get the word out to prospective members and ensuring that the event is a great success.
The start to the year has shown significant progress for the organization. In addition to bringing Laurie back, LIBA has also testified on more bills than ever before during this legislative session, advocating strongly for the local business community. Our representation of our local businesses will contribute to helping shape a business-friendly environment and economic growth.
LIBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting local businesses in Lincoln and the surrounding area through educational and networking opportunities, while also acting as the voice of the business community in local government and the state legislature.
LIBA looks forward to Laurie’s contributions and we are confident that her experience and dedication will help the organization continue to thrive and support our local business community.
