On March 14, 2014, West Gate Bank® began offering Personalized Debit Cards for customers. Prior to the launch, we received feedback from our customers indicating they were eager to receive and use their debit card after opening their new checking account. As a solution to our customers’ request for quicker turnaround time, we implemented in-house debit card production.
Printing debit cards at our main branch allows customers to generally receive their cards within 2-5 business days after the order is submitted. We give our customers the option to pick up their card at one of our seven convenient branch locations or to have it mailed directly to them. We have received positive feedback from our customers receiving their cards in such a short amount of time.

Personalize Your Card with an Image that Means Something to You
Along with the benefit of receiving a debit card within a few days is the ability to personalize your debit card with the image of your choice. We encourage our customers to upload their favorite picture to our card designer website for only $10. Uploading pictures online is a very seamless process for our customers and we have received considerable positive feedback. Customers love having the ability to put a picture of their kids, family pet, favorite hobby, etc. on their own personalized debit card.
Other banks may offer Instant Issue Debit Cards for their customers, but West Gate Bank® is the only community bank in Lincoln that allows customers to personalize their debit cards. If customers opt not to have their cards personalized with an image of their choice, we also provide a gallery of free images to choose from, with several themes.
