9th Annual Sip Nebraska Festival Celebrates Nebraska Wines, Craft Beer, and Spirits
The finest wines, craft beers, and distilled spirits produced in Nebraska will once again be showcased at Sip Nebraska (www.sipnebraska.com), returning to Mahoney State Park on May 6-7. Celebrating Nebraska’s thriving beverage industry, Sip Nebraska guests can sample over 100 types of Nebraska-produced wines, craft beers, and distilled spirits from over 17 different Nebraska-based vendors. The two-day event will be packed with local bands Ro Hempel Band, Boondox, Beaten Path and Bottle Tops, along with artisans and food vendors, mobile massage, goat yoga, ax throwing, dance lessons, sip and learn classes, wood art painting, trolley tours, and other activities at Mahoney State Park, taking advantage of the spring atmosphere.
Sip Nebraska is excited to partner with the nonprofit Shepherd’s Rest Goat & Sheep Rescue organization. Shepherd’s Rest Goat & Sheep Rescue is about bringing together animals and humans in a way that is healing for both. Guests can interact with goats on Saturday afternoon with several goat yoga sessions. If you would like to donate to their cause, go to www.shepherdsrestrescue.com.
Tickets range from $15-$75 and can be purchased at sipspring2022.eventbrite.com. Tasting and limited edition tickets include commemorative items in addition to wine, hard cider, craft beer, and distilled spirits tastings.
