For the third year in a row, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska (BCBSNE) has received the region’s top ranking in customer satisfaction from J.D. Power and Associates.
Among nine large insurance companies, BCBSNE received “Highest Member Satisfaction among Health Plans in the Heartland Region” (IA, NE, MO, KS) in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Member Health Insurance Plan StudySM.
The study, conducted electronically in December 2010 and January 2011, evaluates seven factors of customer satisfaction. They are: customer service, information/communication, approval processes, statements, provider choice, claims processing and coverage/benefits. BCBSNE received the same recognition in 2010 and 2009.
