A Street Market, owned by Larry and Carol Baus and Vicky Warner, celebrated their 17th anniversary in October. The team of owners changed the name from Wagner Food Pride to A Street Market last year and finished a complete remodel to update the building.
A Street Market’s slogan is ‘your neighborhood store’. They live up to this image by offering excellent service including bagging and carrying out groceries and knowing many of their customers by their first name. They also hang their hats on the quality of their meats and produce and their competitive prices. In response, their neighbors have supported them and given them the opportunity to grow.
A Street Market is committed to supporting neighborhood schools and churches and is proud to be the first employer for many local high school students. Many of their customers who came to the store with their babies when they first opened now have children working there. They look forward to the next 17 years.
