AMA Lincoln Announces November Signature Speaker, Design Competition

American Marketing Association (AMA Lincoln; amalincoln.org) is thrilled to announce two exciting upcoming events! Every month, Lincoln’s chapter of the American Marketing Association holds a hybrid Signature Speaker event, highlighting industry experts from across the state and country. AMA Lincoln is pleased to announce their November Signature Speaker, Dr. Helen Fagan.

Dr. Helen Fagan is the founder of the Global Leadership Group, which coaches organizations, communities, and executives in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion. On Thursday, November 11, Dr. Fagan will show attendees how to recognize bias in the workplace and confront their own biases. On Friday, November 12, AMA Lincoln will host Cropped 2021, a live graphic design competition that will involve five designers. The winner receives bragging rights and a cash prize of $1,000. Part of the contest will benefit Juju’s Vegan Cajun & Creole Cuisine, a small business in Lincoln. Cropped will take place at Rumology from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets must be purchased at amalincoln.org/2021-cropped by November 5 at 8 p.m.; tickets will include entry, hor d’oeuvres, comic relief, and one craft cocktail.
