Children’s Author Jan Brett Visits Concordia University
Children’s book author Jan Brett visited Concordia University, Nebraska (cune.edu), as part of her fall tour and a special event hosted by the Plum Creek Children’s Literacy Festival and Chapter’s Books and Gifts of Seward. Brett participated in a special family event, including a 15-minute drawing illustration and presentation and a book signing, on December 8th. All of Brett’s books were on sale during the event, including her new book, “The Turnip.” Families were welcome to take a photograph next to Brett’s tour bus, which was wrapped in artwork from “The Turnip.” In addition, families were able to take photos with Hedgie, Brett’s favorite friend from “The Mitten and The Hat.”
