Better Business Bureau Honors Organizations at 2019 Integrity Awards Luncheon

The Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) (bbb.org/nebraska) Annual Integrity Awards are designed to promote not only the importance of ethical business practices, but also the willingness and efforts made by outstanding businesses and charities that demonstrate a solid commitment to marketplace trust. The 2019 award winners were selected by independent panels of judges representing businesses and academic and charitable organizations in metro Lincoln. They were honored on October 15 at BBB’s 21st Annual Integrity Awards Luncheon held at the University of Nebraska’s Innovation Campus Conference Center.

In the small for-profit business categories, the organization with 5–10 employees selected to win an Integrity Award was Bridge to Better Living, a consulting company that helps people transitioning into senior care communities. In the category for charities, the award was presented to The Child Advocacy Center. This organization provides Lincoln, Lancaster County, and Southeast Nebraska with a coordinated team approach to the problem of child abuse. Both organizations have their headquarters in Lincoln.
In the large for-profit categories, the companies awarded were: Hampton Enterprises, Inc. – Properties & Construction (25–99 employees) and Vancer, Inc. (25–99 employees) from Lincoln and Five Points Bank from Grand Island (100–249 employees).

The judges decided that other organizations that submitted applications were worthy of recognition too. Therefore, those also demonstrating that they placed a high priority on honesty and integrity in the work place were recognized with “Silver Awards of Distinction” for significant commitment to ethical business practices. The Silver Award of Distinction recipients were: Amur Equipment Finance (100–249 employees) located in Grand Island and Integrity Exterior Solutions in Lincoln.
