Butherus, Maser & Love is excited to announce that their 5th annual prom event held on July 10th raised $2,100 for the Food Bank of Lincoln, which was a combination of $1,870 from ticket sales and additional donations from the evening.
Scott Young from the Food Bank of Lincoln states, “We are currently distributing $5.70 worth of food for every dollar that comes in, so we will turn that $2,100 into $11,970 worth of food!”
Guests enjoyed an evening of entertainment at the PlaMor Ballroom, including plenty of dancing to music from the Bobby Layne Orchestra, cookies and punch, and the opportunity to have their photo taken in a photo booth. In line with this year’s theme, A Christmas in July Celebration, guests also got the chance to meet the special guests, Santa and Mrs. Claus!
