Butterfly Bakery to Host 10-Year Anniversary Celebration at Capital Cigar Lounge

Butterfly Bakery (www.butterflybakeryne.com) is celebrating 10 years of serving Lincoln and the surrounding area! To share the excitement with the community, Butterfly Bakery will be hosting a party on Saturday, March 9, from 7 to 11:30 p.m., at Capital Cigar Lounge. The lounge will be open to the public as usual, but there will be a raffle, silent auction, and special remarks made by the bakery to commemorate the milestone. All guests at the lounge on this evening will have the chance to pair Butterfly Bakery’s delicious desserts with Capitol Cigar’s preferred wines, bourbons, cocktails, and cigars.

Owner Justin Van Wart is using this celebration to recognize and thank the people who have helped build the business, from customers, wholesale partners, and past and present employees, to friends and families who have supported the bakery over the years.

In addition, the bakery will recognize an individual for their positive involvement throughout the Lincoln community by awarding them with The Butterfly Effect award. The recipient will receive free pastries for a year, a free t-shirt showing they have earned their wings, and all proceeds from the raffle and silent auction at the event will be donated to the non-profit organization of their choosing.
