At Nebraska Recycling Council’s (www.nrcne.org) 2017 Annual Awards Luncheon & Workshops on Thursday, October 19th eight awards were presented to Nebraska businesses and communities that have excelled at resource recovery and recycling.
- Member of the Year, awarded to Adam Prochaska, O’Neill, Heinrich, Damkroger, Bergmeyer & Shultz, P.C., L.L.O.
- Service Provider of the Year, awarded to Omaha Biofuels Coop.
- Green Team of the Year, awarded to HDR.
- Zero Waste Award, awarded to HopCat Lincoln.
- Waste Diversion Project of the Year, awarded to Firstar Fiber.
- Waste Diversion Product/Service of the Year, awarded to Red Willow County Household Hazardous Waste.
- End Market of the Year, awarded to Ripple Glass.
- Volunteer of the Year, awarded to Gene Hanlon, City of Lincoln Recycling Coordinator.
