Join Disrupting Traffick (disruptingtraffick.org) for an evening of inspiration and hope with special guest Tim Ballard! Last year, Tim Ballard’s powerful fight against trafficking was recounted in the film Sound of Freedom. This September, Tim will join Disrupting Traffick to share his story, and encourage everyone in their fight to end trafficking in Nebraska.
Tim Ballard spent over a decade working as a Special Agent for the Department of Homeland Security, where he was assigned to the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force as an undercover operative-helping dismantle child trafficking rings in the US and multiple foreign countries. He is now Senior Advisor to the SPEAR Fund which hopes to end human trafficking once and for all.
This event takes place on Sunday, September 22, starting at 4 p.m. for select sponsors for a VIP cocktail with Tim Ballard, and 5 p.m. for the main event featuring cocktails, dinner, a keynote and dessert.
