SP Group, P.C. (spgrouppc.com) tax season interns recently organized an “Intern Training” session for the team. The team builder was a great opportunity to break up the grind of tax season and to bring some much-needed life and energy into the firm to help them cross the April 15 deadline.
This year’s tax season interns included, from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln: Jennifer Sedlacek, Addison Priess, Graesyn Buttler, Grant Nickels, Jameson Herzberg and Mikayla Wallace; and from Nebraska Wesleyan University: Bobby Simmons.
Together, they conceptualized the “Build a Meme Party” to “educate” all team members on the fine art of building a meme. After a tutorial, each team member was tasked with developing their own meme. Once completed, the compilation of memes were presented and, true to SP’s competitive nature, a winner was declared. Trevin Little walked away with a Scheels gift card and bragging rights.
This “End-of-Year Intern Project” was a terrific opportunity to mix some light-hearted fun in with the serious business of helping their clients with their tax service needs. Lots of laughs were shared capping off another successful intern season.
