First National Bank Provides Funding for Owner Readiness Survey in Nebraska

First National Bank (www.fnbo.com) encourages business owners across the state to participate in a survey to investigate owner readiness in Nebraska. The 2019 Nebraska State of Owner Readiness Survey is being led by the Exit Planning Institute (EPI), in partnership with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Center for Entrepreneurship and funded by First National Bank of Omaha, Koley Jessen, Lutz, and Silverstone Group. This study is designed to reveal how prepared Nebraska’s private business owners are to transition their companies to next-generation owners.

EPI will utilize the survey data to produce the State of Owner Readiness™ Report. The report will provide a first-of-its-kind, inside look at Nebraska’s statewide owner readiness, notable risk factors reducing the potential salability of these companies, and insights that current owners can leverage to improve their individual exit success probability. EPI has conducted this research study in over 10 markets across the U.S.
