The Governor’s Youth Summit (govsummit.nebraska.gov), hosted by Governor Jim Pillen and the Nebraska Department of Economic Development, will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, in Kearney, Nebraska. This landmark event is designed to connect high-potential students from across the state with employers, colleges, and organizations offering real-time career and educational opportunities.

Unlike traditional career fairs, the Youth Summit provides a relational experience, where students can engage directly with industry leaders, offering a range of opportunities including: Internships & apprenticeships, part-time and full-time employment, scholarships & academic incentives, and military, skilled trades, and STEM opportunities.

These opportunities will be available in real-time, helping students make immediate connections with potential employers and educational institutions.
