Each month, Husker Rehab (huskerrehab.com) has a couple of Pelvic Physical Therapists have a conference club to discuss the most recent research. Dr. Michelle Spicka is one of the 12 presenters that present each year. She usually does the month of September.
“I have been a presenter/research analyst for the International Pelvic Physical Therapy Distance Journal Club since it started in 2010,” says Michelle Spicka, PT, DPT.
The Pelvic Physical Therapy Distance Journal Club’s purpose is to provide a forum for discussion of current research and new ideas in the field of pelvic physiotherapy. Research in this area is occurring at a fast pace. It is nearly impossible to stay up to date alone. The format that the Pelvic Physical Therapy Distance Journal Club provides allows structured discussion of research and its application to practice.
