The 2022 Lancaster County Super Fair (SuperFair.org) is returning to the Lincoln-Lancaster Event Center from Thursday, July 28, through Saturday, August 6. Family shows running all 10 days include the Pals Comedic Dog Stunt Shows as seen on America’s Got Talent and, back by popular demand, the NoWear BMX Bike Stunt Show featuring professional riders of all ages. In addition, the fair presents MotorMania, featuring four fast-paced, mud flingin’ motorsport nights the whole family can enjoy from the new shaded Outdoor Grandstand Arena. Events include: Figure 8 Races presented by Gana Trucking & Excavating, scheduled for Friday, July 29, at 7 p.m.; Demolition Derby presented by T.O. Haas on Saturday, July 30, at 7 p.m.; and the ALL NEW Monster Trucks presented by Morrow Collision on Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6 at 7:30 p.m.
Doors open 90 minutes prior to show time for these events. Ticket prices range from just $4 to $20, with Early Bird specials offering 20% savings for tickets purchased by July 27. Enthusiasts have the option to buy all three MotorMania events together and get FREE parking each night (saves $15). Also new this year, both general admission and limited reserved seating is offered. For even more fun, get a pit pass for $20 to see the cars and meet the drivers before the shows.
The Super Fair also has a free music and entertainment series presented by Pepsi that will run July 29-31 and August 5-6. Catch live, nightly music both weekends of the fair headlined by Lemon Fresh Day and High Heel the Band. Enjoy refreshing drinks from the beer garden and delicious fair food from nearby vendors. New to the series is a Hispanic Cultural Festival, organized by Bailes de Nebraska, featuring folkloric dances and live music on Sunday, July 31, noon-6 p.m.
For the first four days only, fairgoers can get an up-close look at over 5,000 4-H/FFA livestock animals and static exhibits from horticulture and foods to robotics, photography, and fashion. The James Enterprise Family Fun Zone in the Multi Purpose Arena has DOUBLED in size, now featuring a variety of educational and family activities. During the second week, watch daily horse shows and walk through a farm animal petting zoo. Plus, see even more animals on Saturday, August 6, for the Open Class Livestock Shows.
Being an exhibitor at the county fair isn’t just for 4-H/FFA youth, it’s for all ages from anywhere! This year, the following competitions are available to participate in (register ahead of time at SuperFair.org):
