LAX Auto Announces 5-Year Anniversary Event, Donates to People’s City Mission

The team at LAX Auto (www.laxautollc.com) is excited to be celebrating five years of doing business in Lincoln this month. Every year, Owner and Founder Eli Khalil volunteers at and donates to a local charity as a way to give back to the same community that has supported his business throughout another year. This year, LAX Auto will be donating $100 to the People’s City Mission for every car sold in the entire month of September. In addition, the local dealership will be hosting a five-year anniversary event on Saturday, September 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The community is invited to swing by anytime during these hours to enjoy a grill out with cold drinks, live music, and a cash prize drawing.

Eli started LAX Auto while still in college. He couldn’t get any bank loans at the time—all he had to work with was $7,000 in savings and his personal car that was worth about $4,000. He sold his car and started the dealership with the $11,000 he had. Things picked up quickly and he ended up dropping out of school so he could put all his focus on growing the company. Eli has been able to reinvest almost all profits back into the business year after year.

LAX Auto is outgrowing its current location at 400 W Cornhusker Hwy and hopes to move into a much bigger location by next summer. According to Eli, treating people right, honesty, and building a good reputation is what has made his company grow so rapidly over the last five years and he is excited to continue growing in the years to come.
