Legacy Arbors (legacyretirement.com), which first opened its doors in July 2005, celebrated its 20th anniversary last month with residents and staff during an evening of dinner and music.
For 20 years, Legacy Arbors Memory Care has been a more than a place to live, but rather the place “where stories come together.”
“It has been a home filled with laughter, treasured moments and heart,” the team at Legacy Arbors shared. “Everyone who has walked through our doors is a crucial part of our story over the past 20 years. It’s our people, their past, our present and unwritten future that continues to make Legacy special.”
Residents were dolled up with makeup and hair to celebrate this milestone. The tables were beautifully set, and guests enjoyed a delicious meal and dessert while reminiscing over stories and photos from the past 20 years.
“I don’t even know if I’ve ever seen such big smiles on each and every resident. They all seemed to be enjoying themselves,” said Renee Pickerel, executive director. “Making residents smile, with the dedication of our incredible team, is the soul of what we do.”
Pickerel added, “Legacy Arbors is happy to keep serving with compassion and creating joyful memories.”
