In 2022, The Employee Enrichment Council (EEC) at Legacy led their employees in several community outreach events, including a hygiene drive to support the Gathering Place, “Give to Lincoln Day” to support the Lincoln Food Bank, a bottled water and textile drive to support the People’s City Mission, Huskers Helping the Homeless to support Matt Talbot Kitchen, and “Be a Santa to a Senior” to support Home Instead.

The Employee Enrichment Council is an advisory council committed to creating an atmosphere for all employees that promotes friendship, teamwork, leadership, and a driven purpose to enhance and live out the Mission and Values of Legacy Retirement Communities.

Legacy’s goals are to engage employees in community work, support local nonprofits, and offer fun events for employees and guests, as well as train and develop council members’ leadership, planning, organization, and teamwork skills that may assist them in future endeavors.
