LHRMA Announces 2021 Meeting Topics
The Lincoln Human Resource Management Association (LHRMA, lincolnhr.org) recently announced its monthly meeting topics for 2021. All topics are aimed at the LHRMA mission to provide for the interchange of ideas, experiences, and methods concerning the relationships between management and employees, and to promote professional ethics and acquaintanceship among those involved in professional human-resource management. They are the go-to resource on people management for the community, connecting professionals to solve everyday problems, providing quality education, collaborating with community leaders, and leading the charge for the human-resource industry.
Kicking off the year, the January 2021 webinar featured Delight Deloney of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) talking about diversity and inclusion. Looking forward, topics up for discussion include Effects on Employers: Election Outcomes/Supreme Court Make-up for February; Promoting Self-Care/Mental Health Awareness in the Workplace for March; Fierce Conversations in April; legislative update and May SHRM Foundation Basket Raffle in May; HR Executive Panel – Preparing to be a CHRO in June; Benefit Trends – Preparing for Open Enrollment in July; HR Nebraska State Conference in August; Data Driven Decision Making – HR Analytics for September; Disability Employment Awareness in October; legal updates in November; and wrapping up the year in December with a member social.
