Lincoln Running Co. ( lincrunningcompany.com) is excited to offer their summer running class: Beginner’s Luck. Beginner’s Luck is an 8 week beginning running class that runs every Wednesday from June 3rd to July 23rd. Throughout the 8 week class, participants will have the chance to learn about the sport of running from local experts – from nutrition to injury prevention to staying motivated to inspiration. Each week volunteers will help the participants increase their run time to what is comfortable to them!
The class takes place at Lincoln High School in the cafeteria. Class time is 6:30-8 p.m. with a speaker at 6:30 p.m. and the run beginning at 7:15 p.m. Each group run will be separated into several groups and led by an encouraging leader. A Beginner’s Luck 5k will be held at Pioneers Park on the morning of July 25th to close out the 8 weeks with a bang.
