Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG, lincolnypg.com) has scheduled their annual Young Professionals (YP) Week for September 26-30. YP Week is a series of carefully curated speakers, discussion panels, workshops, and networking opportunities that celebrate the talent, insight, and energy of young professionals in Lincoln while also exploring the intersection between culture and city. Included in this educational week, the Young Lincoln Leader Awards (YLLA) will also be announced. The YLLA celebration will take place on Thursday, September 29 and winners of six outstanding young leaders ages 21-40 and one local business will be announced. The award categories include Young Professional of the Year, Young Citizen of the Year, Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Nonprofit Professional of the Year, Emerging Leader of the Year, Next Generation Workplace, and Diversity and Inclusive Excellence.

The Lincoln Young Professionals Group is dedicated to connecting young professionals to other young professionals, the business community, as well as the community itself. They hope to empower the youth in Lincoln to create an energetic and dynamic environment of learning, networking, and entrepreneurship.
