Women in Aviation, a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of women in all aviation career fields, is thrilled to announce its upcoming Plane Pull event on May 18 at the Lincoln Airport (lincolnairport.com, LNK) at 3410 W. Mathis.
The Plane Pull event will begin at 9 a.m. at LNK on the west ramp where teams of five individuals will come together to test their strength and teamwork as they pull a 20-ton aircraft over a 30 foot distance to see who is the ultimate plane pull winner. There will be three divisions; women, men and co-ed.
Attendees can also look forward to various family-friendly activities, food vendors and opportunities to learn more about aviation and career opportunities within the industry. The event would not be possible without the event’s Platinum sponsors: Lincoln Airport, Duncan Aviation and CommuteAir.
Team registration is now open, with proceeds from the event going towards supporting Women in Aviation’s mission. To register, contact Cara Houk, Plane Pull Chair at Cara.Houk@duncanaviation.com. Or Rachel Barth, Plane Pull Co-Chair at R.barth@lincolnairport.com.
