Nebraska Repertory Theatre Presents “A Thousand Words”

Nebraska Repertory Theatre (nebraskarep.org) presents the powerful and innovative world premiere of A Thousand Words on February 12–15 and 18–22 at 7:30 p.m. and February 16 and 23 at 2 p.m.

It’s been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Join Nebraska Rep on an incredible and deeply-revealing journey that explores the power of a photograph to capture a moment in time. There are no actors in this groundbreaking production—only real people with meaningful photos and stories that you’ll have to experience firsthand to believe. This powerful premiere takes place at the Temple Building, located off of 12th and R St. on the edge of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus. Tickets are $39 for general admission, $19.50 for Students/OLLI, available at the Lied Center Ticket Office (301 N. 12th St.).

Over the years, the Nebraska Repertory Theatre has developed and taken the theater in bold, new directions that expand the theatre’s reach and serve the community in exciting new ways. After a national search, current Artistic Director Andy Park was hired, beginning his tenure in January 2017. In September 2017, the Nebraska Rep relaunched as a year-round regional professional Equity theatre company.
