Ribbon Cutting Held to Honor Grand Opening of Cobalt Credit Union in April
Cobalt Credit Union (cobaltcu.com), Nebraska’s largest locally-owned credit union, has opened its newest full-service branch, located just off 84th Street and Adams in Lincoln. Now, with a combined 26 free-standing and retail-based branches, the credit union serves its more than 110,000 members in-person or through a variety of digital and virtual banking channels. The new 4,420-square-foot Lincoln branch includes a drive-thru interactive teller machine where members can access their accounts beyond normal business hours.
“Convenience for our members is important to us, and with the addition of this new Lincoln branch we are able to bring a greater level of convenience and service not just to our current members but future ones as well,” shared President and CEO Robin Larsen. “Cobalt Credit Union has a proud 75-year history of supporting communities in Eastern Nebraska and Western Iowa – we are excited to be expanding our footprint in Lincoln this year.”
A ribbon cutting ceremony the morning of April 29 was attended by members of the credit union’s leadership team and board, branch staff, and members of the Lincoln business and civic community.
