Robber’s Cave Officially Opens for Events
The newly renovated building above Lincoln’s historic Robber’s Cave (www.RobbersCaveLincoln.com), 925 Robbers Cave Rd., is now open for business! The 12,000-square-foot facility has the potential to house around 440 guests as an event space. The rental spaces include three separate areas to host weddings, receptions, corporate luncheons and retreats, and other bookings. It is possible to rent one room, or all three and the outdoor area! Local caterer, Yes Chef, is providing the food onsite.
Extra touches have been added, such as bars and a private dressing room. In addition to interior accommodations, a fenced area with a revamped stage outside is also available. The property to the south of the building has been paved and made into additional parking spaces. As part owner of the property, Sam Manzitto Sr. is thrilled to allow this historic site to be combined with special events.
“Robber’s Cave has been part of many people’s lives for more than 100 years. We are excited to build on that legacy and create a unique experience with memorable moments,” said Manzitto.
Private cave tours will be available to guests of Robber’s Cave but must be booked ahead of time. Tours during events are hosted by resident Robber’s Cave expert and author, Joel Green.
