Cutts Floral Distributors, Strictly Business, Hospice Community Care of Nebraska, and Home Care Partners of Nebraska are teaming up for the second year in a row to spread holiday cheer throughout the senior community in Lincoln with their Cutts & Carols event. On Wednesday, December 11, 4-5 p.m., anyone who is interested can meet at one of the following assisted living communities at 4 p.m. to sing Christmas carols to residents:
- Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, 1750 S. 20th St. RSVP to Hannah Hundley at (402) 219-3792 / editor@strictlybusinessomaha.com.
- Homestead Rehabilitation Center, 4735 S 54th St. RSVP to Karla Frese at (402) 304-0226 / Karla@HomeCarePartnersofNebraska.com.
- Lancaster Rehabilitation Center, 1001 South St. RSVP to Rhonda Saunders at (402) 405-1797 / rsaunders@hospicenebraska.com.
Sara Sudman, owner of Cutts Floral Distributors and Fields Floral, will be donating poinsettias to hand out to all three communities, and the other sponsors will bring candy and fun festive props to give to residents.
The holidays can be a difficult and lonely time for seniors, so take this opportunity to give the gift of your time to these members of our community this season. Sheet music will be provided and you don’t have to be a good singer to participate! Questions about Cutts & Carols can be directed to the Strictly Business office at (402) 466-3330.
