Sumner Place (sumnerplacecare.com) is prioritizing resident’s summer fun! The superb life enrichment team at Sumner Place takes great pride in providing daily purpose for their seniors. This summer they have done many outings that provide the experience of the hustle and bustle of traditional summers. They have gone to the Lincoln Children’s Zoo, a Saltdog’s Baseball game and they even volunteered with their residents at Matt Talbot’s Kitchen.
“Filling our days with meaningful purpose while still prioritizing all of the health needs of residents in our care is at the forefront,” said Janessa Thompson Sumner Place’s admissions & public relations coordinator.
Something unique to the Sumner Place’s life enrichment team is that each resident gets a “daily chronicle”, a simple, condensed paper of unique facts of the day, showcasing a resident’s birthday and all of the daily activities going on so that every resident stays in the loop.
By using the platform Life Loop, they also encourage families to see what their loved one is up to. For more information, please visit sumnerplacecare.com.
