Swanson’s Martial Arts (swansonsmartialarts.com), at the corner of 48th and Old Cheney Rd., is excited to announce its upcoming Open House and Free Trial Class on April 27, from 2 to 3 p.m. This is a great opportunity for anyone who has been curious about martial arts classes and wants to see what classes are really like.
During the free trial class, participants will have the chance to delve into Taekwondo basics under the guidance of skilled instructors. Taekwondo is known for great kicks and all participants will receive hands-on instruction to learn these awesome new skills.
Once you have the basics down, they will finish the event with a thrilling kicking competition, where participants can showcase their newfound skills and compete for the highest jump kick and most kicks in 30 seconds. They will finish strong with all attendees breaking a board. Following the class, competition and board breaking, all attendees are invited to stay for treats.
