The Rogers House Bed & Breakfast Inn to Undergo Extensive Kitchen Renovation
The Rogers House Bed & Breakfast Inn (therogershouseinn.com) has announced plans for extensive renovation to their kitchen to upgrade the space to a more culinary commercial level while still preserving the stylistic and historical appeal. The project is estimated to take eight weeks, with reconstructive work and upgrades being performed by Mark Resseguie of Innovative Homes.
The upgrades will not merely be surface level. The kitchen is being stripped and gutted down to the original framing and studs. The old wiring and plumbing will be removed so that the updated kitchen is truly new with a fresh look and completely updated mechanics. The kitchen will boast all new flooring, paint, granite counter tops, a large island with a countertop that is half granite and half butcher block, all new appliances and conveniently located outlets, and everything of the highest quality and standard. Once work on the new kitchen is complete, the large double kitchen will be spacious enough and sufficiently equipped to accommodate two kitchen staffs at one time. Guests catering for an in-house event would be free to use one full side of the kitchen while a chef preparing for an off-site event would have complete access to the other side.
The Rogers House Bed & Breakfast Inn holds the distinct honor of having been declared a local historic landmark. To learn more or to book an event or a relaxing night’s stay, visit therogershouseinn.com or call (402) 476-6961.
