The Sterling Group hosted a LCOC ribbon cutting event on October 1st to celebrate the start of construction on a brand new, upscale apartment home community in Lincoln. Aventine at Wilderness Hills Apartment Homes, a partnership between The Sterling Group and Braxton Development, will be located on 11.74 acres, just off of Yankee Hill Road and 30th Street, behind Anderson Auto Group in South Lincoln. The community will consist of 12 apartment buildings featuring eight one, two and three bedroom floor plans that range in square footage from 561 – 1,319. Rents will range from $650 – $1,375.
This market-rate, pet-friendly community will feature a resident clubhouse, cyber café with Wi-Fi, a media/gaming room, fitness center with top-of-the-line equipment and adjacent tot room. Other amenities include a resort-style swimming pool with an arbor, two grilling stations and an outdoor fireplace, car care center, and recycling center. Heated, attached garages will also be available, along with exterior storage units. Aventine was designed by SGN+A Architects, Decatur, GA and Engineering Design Consultants, Lincoln. Estimated at $26.8 million in total development costs, this project is expected to open in March 2014.
