Western National Bank (mywnb.com) is excited to be hosting the third annual Chase’s Drive to Survive Blood Drive this fall, in partnership with the Lavelle Family.
The Nebraska Community Blood Bank will have a bus at the Lincoln branch, 5931 S. 58th St. G, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, and another bus downtown outside of the Hudl HQ, 600 P St., to allow convenience for people in other parts of Lincoln and surrounding areas.
This is an exciting event for the community to support as it is close to their heart. The drive honors Chase Lavelle, son of Vice President David Lavelle and grandson of CEO Brian Lavelle. When Chase was 4-months old, he was admitted to Children’s Hospital of Omaha with E. coli poisoning and suffered complete kidney failure. Blood transfusions made a tremendous impact on his ability to fight his battle. He is now a healthy 5-year-old who loves to keep up with his brothers and new baby sister.
Giving blood is a small-time commitment that can help save lives, like Chase’s, here in Nebraska. Please consider signing up to participate in this drive.
To sign up visit (bit.ly/chasesdrivetosurvive2025).
If you’re not local, they still encourage you to donate blood. Visit your local Nebraska Community Blood Bank location and use the code “Chase” to donate and be counted toward the drive total.
