Urban Legends Art Studio Celebrates 10 Years with Open House on November 6

Join Urban Legends Art Studio (urbanlegendsart.com), located at 2632 N 48th St., for their 10-year anniversary open house, labeled the “Perfect 10 – Art & Friendship”, on Saturday, November 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anniversary specials will be offered, including $30 gift certificates for $25 and Kids Art Parties for $100 for 10 participants ($150 value). There will also be door prizes and fun activities. Owners Anna Alcalde, Cindy Schroeder, and Kay Glenn are grateful for Lincoln’s support and welcome the community to this celebration.

Urban Legends allows kids and adults to experiment in a plethora of art mediums in a fun and creative environment with experienced instructors. No matter what skill level you are at, they make it a winning project.

Urban Legends Art studio offers both on- and off-site parties! Plan your holiday party with this interactive studio for a memorable party they will keep talking about all year. Private parties may bring in your own food and drinks and celebrate your business/group with door hangers, porch boards, glass painting, canvas art, fabric weaving, macrame, and more!

The ladies of Urban Legends Art Studio take pride in their 10-year history of creative community involvement throughout Lincoln. They teach art therapy group classes at memory care facilities, have worked with positive SmARTTalks, and taught at many after school clubs with Lincoln Public Schools. The studio is also the 2021 recipient of the Nebraska Girl Scouts “Donna West” Award for teaching and investing in future young women leaders.
