Weathercraft Co. of Lincoln Earns Firestone Master Contractor Program Award

Weathercraft Co. of Lincoln (www.weathercraftlincoln.com) was recently named an award recipient of the Firestone Master Contractor Program, which recognizes the top 250 Firestone Red Shield Licensed Roofing Contractors based on the quality and square footage of installed systems covered by the Red Shield Warranty, including RubberGard™ EPDM, UltraPly™ TPO, asphalt, metal, and Gaco™ waterproofing systems. 2019 was the 32nd year of the program. Weathercraft is one of 11 contractors in the nation to receive the award every year from the beginning. Owner Bill E. Livengood attributes this achievement to his employees and their focus on superior quality and dedication to give the customer the best roof possible.

Weathercraft celebrated its 50-year anniversary this past September with an open house. Many clients, team members, friends, and family were in attendance. The company has a lot to be grateful for, and Bill is proud of the growth Weathercraft has seen throughout the years.

Weathercraft Co. of Lincoln is owned and operated by the same family today as when it was originally founded. William D. Livengood (Bill Sr.) still participates in the business at 82. In the early years, Weathercraft expanded to many locations throughout Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Colorado, Wyoming, and Minnesota. In 1988, the Livengood family decided that it was difficult to monitor and insure that everything would be done according to their philosophy, so they sold the long-distance companies to the partners in those locations. The company operates in three locations now—Lincoln, Omaha, and Grand Island.
