White Elm Brewing Co. Opens New Location in Lincoln Downtown Haymarket

White Elm Brewing Co. (whiteelmbrewing.com) opened their newest location in the heart of the Haymarket in fall of 2019 at 801 R St. To celebrate, they hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber and an all-day party on January 24. White Elm Brewing welcomed customers with $1 off every pint for the entire day. There was also a live performance by The Talent Show that night, special beer tapings, and delicious food from Clean Slate Food Co.

The new location features weekly food truck visits, vendor pop-ups, a year-round patio, and 13 rotating Elm beer handles. The new location is nearly twice as large as the original. White Elm Brewing had been looking to expand, and when a spot right down the street from the Pinnacle Bank Arena opened up, it was time to take the jump. White Elm Brewings’ new location hopes to mimic the feel of the first original location—a neighborhood hub where all can gather to enjoy a good brew.
