WISB to Host Monthly Luncheon on October 9

The Women in Sales and Business (WISB; wisblincoln.org) monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 9 at The Venue in the NE/Lancaster Rooms at 4111 Pioneer Woods Dr. from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost to attend is $16 with lunch included; $10 without lunch.

This month’s speaker will be Halicia (Hali) Allen, operations specialist/assistant vice president for American National Bank in Omaha. Ms. Allen has been with American National Bank for 12 years, serving in a variety of positions. For the past eight years, she has been in the Fraud/Operations/Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Department. Hali will share her experiences with the following: ID theft, forgeries, alterations, counterfeit checks, business e-mail compromises, wire and ACH fraud, elder financial exploitation, and a multitude of other types of scams that arise each and every day. She will also share ways to safeguard your private information from scams and fraud situations.

Women in Sales & Business began meeting in 1987 to offer business women in Lincoln the opportunity to network within an intimate group.
