Clearwater Counseling Celebrates Counseling Awareness Month
This April, Clearwater Counseling, PC (clearwatercounselingpc.org) is celebrating Counseling Awareness Month, a time of advocacy for the profession and celebration of the outstanding efforts of counselors as they seek to facilitate the growth and development of all individuals. Counseling Awareness Month helps shine a light on the profession of counseling and promotes the importance of mental health.
According to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), one in five Americans experience mental health issues – that’s more than 40 million adults each year. In many cases, counseling can help people overcome previous trauma or mental and emotional setbacks so they can reduce stress and anxiety, avoid emotional triggers, form healthy relationships, and take other positive steps to move forward.
Clearwater Counseling works with clients who are struggling with a variety of mental health diagnoses including depression, relationship issues, grief/loss/trauma, addiction and recovery, co-dependency, anxiety and phobias, parenting problems, sexual abuse and incest, physical abuse and violence, as well as various others. To schedule an appointment with Clearwater Counseling, or for more information about mental health services, please call (308) 210-8487 or email info@clearwatercounselingne.org.
