DreamCatchers Strong (dreamcatchersstrong.org) is excited to announce a Meet & Greet for the public on May 7 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the DreamCatchers Strong barn in Southwest Lincoln. If you are interested in learning about the power of horses to help you work through emotional concerns like anxiety, depression and grief or how DreamCatchers partners with their horses to help teens develop confidence for everyday life, DreamCatchers invites you to this event. Meet a horse or two, learn about Peer Support and Trail Ride Academy, and meet Dreamcatchers’ director and volunteers.

If you’re unsure of how you feel about horses, the team at DreamCatchers are there to introduce you and help you become more comfortable with them. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist and Human Services instructor, Director Jodi Freeman is trained and experienced in offering emotional support along with the horse experience.

Trail Ride Academy and Peer Support operate April through November every year. For information and to apply for either program, please email info@dreamcatchersstrong.org with “Trail Ride Academy” or “Peer Support” as the subject. To be added to the VIP list and be the first to know about upcoming activities and events, email info@dreamcatchersride.org with “VIP Opt-In” as the subject. Anyone interested in supporting clients who are unable to afford the cost may arrange to make tax-deductible donations by emailing jodi@dreamcatchersride.org.

DreamCatchers Strong is here to support individuals by sharing their love of the magnificent creatures that are horses. Learn more at dreamcatchersstrong.org.
