With warmer weather and school ending for the summer, the needs at Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) are changing. During the summer months, the families they serve can spend more time together and more time outdoors. Friendship Home’s hope is these families can fully enjoy their summers and time together, and in doing so, they would like to reach out to the community to make that happen.
Some of the summer needs include but aren’t limited to sunscreen, bug spray, outdoor games, beach towels and water balloons. They also include activities families can experience and have fun doing together. This can be in the form of gift cards for miniature golf, bowling, pool passes and Defy Gravity. Whatever your family likes doing together in the summer, Friendship Home families would enjoy and appreciate it.
