GenLNK Announces Spring Fundraiser, Mini-Golf Tournament on April 23
GenLNK (www.liba.org), the Lincoln Independent Business Association’s (LIBA) young professionals group, is very excited to officially announce their spring fundraiser on Saturday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to noon at Adventure Golf Center. So mark your calendars now!
As a nod to the annual LIBA Golf Tournament, GenLNK is organizing a mini-golf tournament to raise money for this round’s nonprofit recipient, Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry. Teams of four can enter at $25/person. Businesses can also enter a team of four as a hole sponsor for $150 to receive signage at the event and promotion before. GenLNK is interested in locking down a title sponsor for this event at $500-$1,000 and a lunch sponsor.
GenLNK exists to have fun while networking, celebrate doing business in Lincoln, support other local businesses, and build towards the future by bringing like-minded leaders together. Please join them at this month’s networking event on Tuesday, March 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Alchemy Aqua Vitae downtown. The guest speaker will be Eric Kamler, part owner of Alchemy, Mayor of Geneva, candidate for Public Service Commission, and farmer.
GenLNK holds committee meetings on the first Fridays of the month from noon to 1 p.m. at Rock ‘n’ Joe Coffee Bar. Quarterly—March, June, September, and December—they meet at a Sideshow Spirits downtown. From discussing current legislation that affects young business leaders, to planning the next networking event, these meetings allow the group to inform, encourage, and connect with each other in an impactful way. To learn more, call the LIBA office at (402) 466-3419 or go online to www.liba.org.
