CIMRO of Nebraska, the Nebraska Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), announced the appointment of Heath Boddy to its Board of Directors. Boddy’s three-year term began in May 2011 and will continue through May 2014.

CIMRO of Nebraska works with healthcare providers to improve the quality of care delivered to people with Medicare, including assisting physicians and staff in hospitals, nursing homes, homecare agencies, managed care organizations and physician offices to improve quality through the use of system and process changes. CIMRO of Nebraska also assists Nebraska healthcare providers implement and use electronic health records.

CIMRO of Nebraska is led by a team of experienced professionals and an 11-member board comprised of physicians, representatives from hospitals, nursing homes, homecare agencies and Medicare consumers. Boddy represents the interests of nursing homes.

Boddy serves as the Executive Director of the Nebraska Health Care Association (NHCA). He is responsible for the direction, administration and operation of NHCA, the Nebraska Assisted Living Association, Nebraska Hospice and Palliative Care Association, Nebraska Health Care Foundation, and Licensed Practical Nurse Association of Nebraska.
