HopeSpoke Sets $5K Fundraising Goal to Support Children’s Mental Health in February
This February, HopeSpoke (www.hopespoke.org) is encouraging the community to Have a Heart for Children’s Mental Health, with a goal to raise $5,000 this month to help ensure that children and families have access to mental health care.
The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated mental health needs for many youth and families, and created new challenges for others. HopeSpoke inspires healthy futures for children and families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services. In the past year, over 1,500 children, youth, families, and adults have received life-changing mental health services at HopeSpoke, with programs ranging from outpatient services, school-based therapy, crisis and residential services, and an extended day treatment program. A donation of $111 can provide one outpatient therapy session for a child or adult who lacks adequate insurance coverage. A gift of any size will help ensure that every individual seeking care at HopeSpoke is able to access vital behavioral and mental health care they need and deserve.
HopeSpoke’s mission is to inspire healthy futures for children and their families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services. The HopeSpoke team strives to understand the unique qualities and experiences of those they serve as influenced by emotional and cognitive development, family situation, social environment, and personality.
